Kelley Hollie, LMSW
Where scholarship and activism
meet the street.
Scholar, trainer, researcher and caregiver. I study how race, disability and structural violence shape autism, and I bring what I find back to the people it’s about.

About Kelley
Scholarship that answers to the community.
Kelley Hollie is a licensed master social worker and doctoral researcher who studies how race, disability and structural violence shape autism, and who answers to the families living it.
Autism isn’t experienced the same way across race, and the systems around it aren’t either. Her research looks at how Black autistic people and their families move through diagnosis, schools, services and policing, and where structural violence shows up along the way.
Her approach is community-accountable: families and autistic people help set the questions, read the findings and decide what happens next.
